I don’t believe it would take very long, or at least there would be a great effort to not make someone wait very long to know whether or not they have been accepted. Our ratio of guys to girls is a bit wonky at the moment, because there are a few people who have excused absences (computer issues and/or focusing on school), but I don’t think I see a problem with looking over some female apps and letting the applicant know one way or the other. :)
